I can live with having 2 different accounts (1 for windows and 1 for office) but this seems like a dumb solution, especially when it used to work fine until this recent renewal. The tech decided that my windows account must be corrupted, and since he was an Office tech (not a Windows tech), he didnt know how that could be fixed, other than to use separate accounts for Windows and Office. Can you please assist In doing so, Id like to ensure I receive credit for the already paid 365 Personal subscription when upgrading to 365 Family. I tried discussing it with Microsoft but it appears I need to do it through Apple. During that 3-hour session (and before) we uninstalled/reinstalled office, and deleted numerous license Upgrading Microsoft 365 Subscription I would like to upgrade my Microsoft 365 Personal to Microsoft 365 Family. if i log into windows under the MS account, then log into Office 365 under that same MS account, it says i am not licensed to use Office 365.Īfter a 3 hour chat session with MS, it was concluded that i will need to log into windows under a different account if i want to use the MS Office license.if i log into windows under another (local) account, i can use the Office 365 shared license (I log into office 365 using the MS account).my MS account shows that the license is shared with me.Since this renewal, i am unable to use the Office license if i log into windows under the same MS account as i use for Office 365. My husband recently renewed his Office 365 and shared the license with me (as he had done previously). Windows account cant access Office 365 Family license And most importantly is this even legal or in breach of contract as Microsoft Office 365 Personal is for one user only?.Or would B have a separate 1TB free space in One drive, or only the free 5GB or none at all?.If it does apply how can I install Microsoft Office 365 Personal in a second pc so that my email accounts A are not loaded, and I can only add B email account on the second pc?.Would not apply to Microsoft Office 365 Personal as it breaches the licence agreement? User B adds his / her email accounts to Outlook.User A installs and activates O365 on User B's laptop. So, I cannot figure out how to install Microsoft Office 365 Personal in a second pc so that my email accounts A are not loaded. I have installed Microsoft Office 365 Personal in a second pc B and when launching Outlook all my email accounts from A were loaded. The reason I am asking these questions are that two individuals are buying two new laptops and would like to share one Microsoft Office 365 Personal.Ī has a subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal already and wants to share the same account with B.
